Video Duplication & Conversion

Academic Technology Support is available to duplicate some of the more common older video formats to DVD. Bring your video to the Academic Technology Support Room (basement of Benedict) during normal business hours. We can not duplicate or convert copyright protected materials without the explicit written permission of the copyright holder. The following formats can be converted to DVD:

• VHS (both PAL and NTSC)
• VHS-C
• 8mm tapes (Video8, Hi-8 and Digital8)
• Mini DV Tapes
• LaserDisc

We are also able to create duplicate copies of your DVDs. We do not provide the DVD media for any conversion or duplication. You should purchase your own blank DVD-R discs and provide them at the time you request your duplication or conversion. The amount of time required for completion depends on the volume and quantity of work requested.

Audio Duplication & Conversion

Academic Technology Support is available to duplicate some of the more common older audio formats to CD. Bring your audio to the Academic Technology Support Room (basement of Benedict) during normal business hours. We can not duplicate or convert copyright protected materials without the explicit written permission of the copyright holder. The following formats can be converted to CD:

• Cassette Tapes
• DAT (Digital Audio Tapes)
• LP Records (both 33's and 45's)
  

We are also able to create duplicate copies of your CDs. We do not provide the CD media for any conversion or duplication. You should purchase your own blank CD-R discs and provide them at the time you request your duplication or conversion. The amount of time required for completion depends on the volume and quantity of work requested.
