Music Scholarships

Students interested in applied music lessons while enrolled as a full-time student at Sweet Briar are invited to audition for scholarship assistance to help cover the cost of those lessons. You do not have to major or minor in music to be awarded a scholarship, but you must plan to take applied music lessons during your first year at Sweet Briar. Your talent may be vocal or instrumental.

Application Process

Auditions for the scholarships are conducted during new student orientation. Additional information is found in the SBC 101 Guide, which is mailed to students following receipt of their enrollment deposit.
