Alumni College in Krakow

Join Louise Swiecki Zingaro `80, Alumnae Association Director, for this educational Alumni College tour to the unusual destination of Poland. Our headquarters will be the beautiful city of Krakow whose abundance of well-preserved historic buildings, miraculously spared the destruction of both World Wars I and II, has earned it the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will unpack only once and spend seven nights at the Holiday Inn, ideally situated near the city center and the charming main square.

Highlights include: the picturesque landmarks of Krakow; an excursion to Warsaw; a journey through the beautiful Tatra Mountains to the historic town of Zakopane, host of the 2006 Winter Olympics; exploration of an amazing network of underground lakes and sculptures at the Wieliczka Salt Mine; and a choice between a Schindler's List tour of the nearby Auschwitz concentration camp or a journey through picturesque Ojcow National Park
