The Alumnae Association would like the names of alumnae nominees for the Distinguished Alumna Award and the Outstanding Alumna Award. The qualifications for each award are listed below:

Distinguished Alumna Award:
"Given to honor alumnae who have brought distinction to themselves and to Sweet Briar College through outstanding accomplishment in a volunteer or professional capacity."

Outstanding Alumna Award:
"Given to alumnae who have been out of the College for at least 15 years in recognition of outstanding service to the College in a volunteer capacity."

Nominations are welcomed from Sweet Briar College alumnae, faculty, staff, and administration. Click here to nominate an alumna for an award.

Awards Committee

Award nominations are reviewed and recipients are selected by the Association's Alumnae Awards Committee, which consists of the President of the Alumnae Association, who serves as chair, the President of the College, the Dean of the College, the Dean of Co-Curricular Life, the Director of the Alumnae Association, the Vice President for Development and College Relations, a faculty member appointed by the President of the College, the First Vice President and Chair of Clubs, the senior Association Board member on the College Board of Directors, the Editor of the Alumnae Magazine, the Nominating Chair, and any others asked to serve by the President of the Alumnae Association.
