What songs get you ready to compete? I like listening to Pearl Jam and Dave Matthews.

What things do your teammates do to get you pumped up and ready to play? My teammates are fantastic about cheering for one another and showing encouragement. It's great to know that your teammates are watching you.

Describe your best athletic moment at Sweet Briar. Playing at the ITA Regional Championships at Mary Washington was spectacular. It wasn't a "moment" but an entire weekend. The teams were immensely competitive.

What is your favorite place on campus? The lake dam. It is serene, romantic and the view is GORGEOUS.

Best class you have taken at Sweet Briar? I have taken many wonderful classes, so it's difficult to choose the best. Terrorism and Insurgency was splendid, because it exposed me to a new side of political science which I didn't know much about.

Describe a time when you have done research with a professor, spent extra time on class work, or gotten help for a class. The summer after my freshman year, I interned as a research assistant in Washington, D.C. at the Council on Hemispheric Affairs.

What campus clubs/organizations are you involved in outside of athletics? I have worked as a tour guide, a resident assistant and a disc jockey for 89.9 WNRS.

What are your plans for after graduation? I plan to work in Texas or perhaps abroad. I would like to pursue graduate school after a couple years in the labor force, but I'm unsure of which field I will study.

When I am not participating in my sport, I enjoy... weekend road trips.

Favorite sports movie? "A League of Their Own."

Most admired professional athlete? Pete Sampras. I watched him play tennis before I learned how to play. He has always shown modesty and humility, which is uncommon.

If you could be a superhero, what superhero power would you want? I would make money grow on trees.

An interesting fact about me is.... I've never had a cavity.
