What songs get you ready to compete? My favorite pump-up song is "Eye of the Tiger." I also enjoy a variety of rap songs.

What things do your teammates do to get you pumped up and ready to play? When we are all in the locker room we go over our goals for each game. I also get pumped up when my teammates are pumped - I know that if they are ready to win, then so am I.

Why did you choose Sweet Briar? I chose Sweet Briar because of the amazing community here.

What is your favorite place on campus? My favorite place on campus besides Prothro, is the Dell. On spring days when classes are over, I love to just be outside and hand out with friends.

Most challenging class ? My first-year English class. I have always had trouble writing papers, but I went to the ARC and it was a great resource.

Best class you have taken at Sweet Briar? Creative Writing with John Gregory Brown. I had some much fun writing short stories and developing new ideas.

Describe a time when you have done research with a professor, spent extra time on class work, or gotten help for a class. For my Arts Organization class, I worked on the It's Not Elementary exhibit with Nancy McDearmon. I spent half the semester working on every aspect of the show with her. I learned so much about what goes into creating an art exhibit.

How did you decide on a major? I have always loved art and my grandfather owns an advertising agency. I really enjoy spending time working on my art and it is soothing to me.

What are your plans for after graduation? I am going to work for an advertising agency as a commercial artist after I graduate. I want to live close to my best friends, hopefully in the south.

When I am not participating in my sport, I enjoy... spending time with friends and meeting new people.

Most admired professional athlete? Jackie Robinson.

An interesting fact about me is.... that all of my fingers are double jointed.
