What songs get you ready to compete? I like anything fast paced and up beat -- something that me and my teammates can dance to and be crazy.

What is the most rewarding part about being a student athlete? Getting the recognition from your professors. It's really cool to be able to go to class and have your professors ask you about the game or congratulate you when you win.

Favorite characteristic about your team? I love how we are like a huge family and how we can just laugh and carry on for hours on end.

Why did you choose Sweet Briar? The softball coach.

What is your favorite place on campus? The softball field because that is where I spent a lot of time when I was living at home, so being on the field makes me feel at home.

Best class you have taken at Sweet Briar? I love of all my business classes. The professors are great and they make the lesson interesting.

Describe a time when you have done research with a professor, spent extra time on class work, or gotten extra help for a class. Last year I worked with Dr. Mabey in the biology department and we studied the habits of the ground hogs on campus.

How did you decide on your major? I took accounting to fill a Gen Ed requirement and I fell in love with the business atmosphere.

When I am not participating in my sport I enjoy... Hanging out with my teammate. We don't need to be in season to be close!

Most admired profession athlete? Lisa Fernandez.

Favorite sports movie? "A League of Their Own ."

If you could be a superhero, what superhero power would you want? I'd like to fly because you can get places quicker.
