Can I check out a book from the office? Sure! Make sure to fill out the appropriate paperwork and you may check out a book for up to two weeks.
What Majors specifically require an Academic Internship? Arts Management Certificate, Education (required for licensure), Environmental Science (all concentrations), Business Management, Economics (Business concentration), Psychology, and Engineering

Is there a GPA requirement for doing an academic internship? Yes, a 2.0 cumulative GPA and a 2.0 GPA in the subject is required to do an academic internship.

What services does the Career Services Center offer future teachers? The Career Services Center has Praxis testing materials and study guides. Also note that each February, Career Services holds an Education Career Fair.
How does Career Services Center assist students in finding full time employment? We will assist current students and alumnae. Call ext. 6151 to schedule an appointment.
May I contact an Alumna for career help? Yes, it is appropriate to contact alumnae for advice or to network. However, it is NOT appropriate to solicit them for jobs or internships. You must sign a contract stating that you understand how and when it is appropriate to contact alumnae.
