New student forms to be completed by all students
Please select the form that applies:
First-Year Student
This form should be completed by students who are graduating from high school in 2012 (i.e. those who have not before enrolled as a degree-seeking student at another college or university). Students who took college courses while still in high school should complete this form.
Transfer Student
This form should be completed by students who have previously enrolled as a degree-seeking student at another college or university. Most likely, this means you will have graduated from high school in 2011 or earlier. Students who took college (dual-enrollment) courses while still in high school and never enrolled as a degree-seeking student at that institution should complete the form for “First-Year Students.”
International Student
This form should be completed by any student who is not a citizen of the United States of America, regardless of the amount of credit earned prior to enrolling at Sweet Briar.
Non-Residential Student
This form should be completed by students who are eligible to live at home with a parent or guardian.

Spring Break begins on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. At this time, the residence halls will close. The last meal served will be dinner on Friday March 9th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Prothro and dinner at 5:00 p.m. will be the first meal served on Sunday, March 18, 2012.
No one will be allowed to remain in the residence areas after 8:00 a.m. on March 10. If you encounter problems with timing, transportation, or other concerns regarding closing for break, please contact the Office of Residence Life and Housing by Friday, March 2.

You can choose an internship for credit or not-for-credit. Both internships require that you work with an on-site supervisor who directs the experience and provides a final evaluation of the student’s performance. Several majors now require you to have internships including: Business Management, Engineering, Arts Management, Environmental Science/Studies, Economics, Education and Psychology.
