Prerequisite: ARMG 105. This course combines theory with the practical skills required of museum and art gallery professionals. Students will examine the critical issues surrounding collections, exhibitions, conservation, governance, and ethics. In addition, students will gain firsthand experience that provides a firm foundation in skills such as scholarship, connoisseurship, object handling, and exhibition installation that are considered fundamental knowledge in museums and art galleries.
