you are financially responsible for weekly rent for the duration of
your contract period. Rent must be paid each Monday by noon; checks
should be made payable to "SBC". Should payments become delinquent,
the College is authorized to deduct this amount from any wages due,
or put a hold on the student's fall registration.

campus, beginning in June.
Kitchen facilities will be available in the selected residence hall. Meals may not be charged to Sweet Briar student
accounts.
- The Student Health Center and the Office of Co-Curricular
Life will not be open during the summer. Reid Pit is also off-limits
to summer dorm residents. Students must be prepared to provide for their
own health, transportation, and recreation needs. In case of an emergency,
contact Campus Police.

students and rooms as is deemed necessary by the Summer housing staff
(RA & RC), Honors Program staff, or Dean's Office. In addition,
no resident may refuse another assigned student the use of an unoccupied
space.
- All keys issued are the property of the College. Keys
may not be duplicated or transferred to other persons. Failure to return
keys and lost or stolen keys will result in all appropriate lock cylinders
being changed and the cost charged to the student. Students residing
in the summer residence hall will only have access to that building. No
other residence halls will be accessible.
- No housing changes may take place without proper authorization
from the ResHall RC and Honors Program Summer staff.

a maximum of three nights in any 10-day period. All guests staying over
night must register at the Campus Inn Information Center and pay a $10.00
per night fee.
- Students are responsible for the condition and furnishings
of their assigned spaces and will be charged for any damage/loss that
may occur during their occupancy. Students will be assessed a charge
when beds are left unassembled, personal possessions are not removed,
and the room is not adequately cleaned. All room-altering restrictions
in effect during the academic year, apply to summer housing, as well.
- No pets OF ANY KIND are allowed in the ResHall rooms,
or common areas.
- Residents can be held collectively responsible for
damage and/or loss to College property in common areas, unless one or
more residents assume responsibility.
- If a student leaves or changes residence without completing
proper paperwork with Summer housing staff (RA or RC) and/or fail to
return keys, College staff will judge the condition of the room. In
such cases, all subsequent charges for damage assessed by the College
may not be appealed.
- The College reserves the right to enter students'
resident space for routine and immediate maintenance, in an emergency
involving danger to life or property, for the purpose of health and
safety inspections, when a condition is observed that is prohibited
by this agreement, the Terms and Conditions of Residency, the Student
Handbook, and/or the College Catalog, and/or when it is reasonably believed
a resident is using a space in a manner contrary to the provisions of
this agreement.

abide by the rules set forth for all students on campus during the summer
months. Failure to do so will result in the student being asked to leave
campus.
- Living on campus is a privilege and not a right. Sweet
Briar College reserves the right using established procedures to withdraw
accommodations and students forfeit the privilege of residing in a residence
hall under any of the following conditions: for health and safety reasons;
to seek disciplinary action; ceasing to be a registered, full time student
at Sweet Briar College; for non-payment of bills.
- Each student is responsible for reading, understanding
and abiding by the Terms and Conditions for Residency, the Student Handbook,

Should violations occur to any policies, students may assume disciplinary
consequences including possible revocation of summer residency.
