Travel Information

Detailed instructions concerning passport and visa application, handling of baggage, time and place of the group meeting prior to departure, and suggestions regarding clothing will be furnished at the appropriate time.

An important meeting for fall and year students, their parents, families and friends will be held at Washington, DC Dulles Airport on the day of departure. They will have an opportunity to meet each other as well as representatives of the College and the staff of the Junior Year in France.

Group Flight

For Paris students, the group flight for fall and year students is out of Washington, DC Dulles International Airport in August. Students will return individually. The return part of the group ticket is valid for one year.  There is no group flight (in January) for spring semester students.

For Paris fall semester and year students only, it is preferable that they travel to Europe with the group in August. Should a student have reason to travel independently, a request should be made if possible at the time of application or as soon as possible after the student has been admitted. In this case the appropriate deduction, normally the price of the flight ticket, will be made in the overall fee and the student will meet the group in Tours.

There are no group flights for the Nice Program.
