The Vixen volleyball team traveled to Virginia Wesleyan College yesterday to take on the Marlins. The Marlins won, 3-0. Set scores were 25-13, 25-18, and 25-15.
Junior Ashley Winters (Mechanicsville, Va.) had six kills while teammate Cassidy Jones (‘11/Rustburg, Va.) had five kills for the offense. Defensively, Winters had 12 digs and first-year player Emily Sickelbaugh (High Point, N.C.) had 3 blocks.
The Vixen squad will travel to Emory and Henry College on Tuesday for their next conference match.
