- 11 additional semester hours of psychology courses at the 200-level or above excluding special studies (PSYC 361), and internships (PSYC 377), and independent studies (PSYC 461). BIOL 222, Animal Behavior, may also be counted toward the major.
- 3 400-level PSYC courses must be taken, two of them senior year. PSYC 452 (Senior Seminar) counts as one of the courses.
- 7 semester hours of science other than psychology, including at least a 1 semester hour laboratory
