Prize Lists
The Sweet Briar riding program hosts many competitions throughout the academic year that are open to outside competitors. In the fall semester we host our annual Hunter Trials over families weekend and hold an Oktoberfest hunter and jumper horse show and a late Fall Show that are both SWVHJA rates. Sweet Briar is the site for two ANRC Equitrials each year, as well as an ANRC clinic and certification center each May. The spring is quite busy with SWVHJA rated shows. The Winter Show offers hunters and jumpers. The Spring Show in late March and in April the Annual Show which is in its 79th year in 2005 offer both hunter and jumper competition. We close the year with our Schooling Show for the beginner through intermediate level rider.
