An alumna and former professor, Holly Trent ’96 returned to Sweet Briar College in 2024 as an adjunct assistant professor of political science. Outside of academia, Holly has had a successful career as an attorney, including serving as associate university counsel and senior assistant attorney general for the University of Virginia and senior vice president and chief legal officer for Centra Health. While at George Mason University School of Law, she was editor-in-chief of their Civil Rights Law Journal and a writing fellow.
