National Engineers Week Banquet

Celebrate National Engineers Week with Sweet Briar Engineering and the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance!

Each year engineers, students, and educators, as well as members of the public from Lynchburg and the Shenandoah Valley, gather with us to celebrate engineering in our region and enjoy an evening of networking.

This year’s featured speaker is Katherine Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Framatome North America. With more than 35 years of experience in the energy industry, Williams is actively involved with community outreach and education and endeavors to foster a deeper understanding of the importance of nuclear energy.

Submit Your Engineering Projects

In preparation for this year’s National Engineers Week Banquet, we would like to invite local industry, government, and academia to share engineering achievements from the past 12-18 months to be exhibited at the banquet.

Sweet Briar engineering students will vote on the most impactful projects and representatives from the top three organizations will be invited to give a brief presentation on the project during the banquet.

Please submit your organization’s project no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024.
