Leadership in Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems

Are you passionate about plants? Do you dream of running your own farm or food business? Are you eager to lobby for policies supporting climate-smart agriculture? Do you want to be equipped, regardless of what career path you pursue, to contribute to a more sustainable and just food future? If so, Sweet Briar’s Leadership in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems certificate program is perfect for you!

Key features of this for-credit certificate:

  • Available as an additional credential to students pursuing any major at Sweet Briar
  • Courses across the curriculum, including agriculture, business, environmental science, economics and more
  • Both on- and off-campus experiential learning components
