Ensembles

Sweet Briar musical ensembles provide valuable performance experiences both for music majors as well as the entire student body. These courses are open to all students regardless of ability or experience.

Concert Choir

The Concert Choir is open to any and all levels of singers. Choral singing is a vital part of the college’s musical life. They perform concerts regularly and for special occasions. More importantly, singing together builds a community and friendships that last a lifetime.

Daisy’s Harp MUSC 115

Daisy’s Harp is an experimental ensemble that includes voices and instruments. The group fosters a “Do-it-Yourself” ethos that encourages student performers to be creative both in performance and in the curation and production of concerts. The group frequently collaborates with dance and has also collaborated with Sweet Briar’s engineering program to bring technology and music together.
