40% of Vixens study abroad during our time at Sweet Briar. From semester to summer to short-term programs in our three week sessions, we roam and study from Oxford to Spain, from Costa Rica to Seoul.

Study Endangered Species

Get hands-on experience in conservation biology at the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation (SMSC) at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI) in Front Royal, Virginia. Learn to survey vulnerable animal populations, protect habitats and understand the role of zoos in protecting species.

Branch Out, Nearby

In fall or spring, explore classes through the Tri-college Consortium of Sweet Briar, Randolph College, and University of Lynchburg. You can also take classes at Hampden-Sydney College, Hollins University, Mary Baldwin University, Randolph-Macon College, or Washington and Lee University.
