The Sweet Briar Riding Program is offering the following clinic opportunities in 2024.

Summer Junior Riding Clinics
Geared towards high-school aged riders with riding experience at 3’ and above, these riding clinics focus on horsemanship and competitive goal setting. Riders will ride Sweet Briar College horses and get instruction from Sweet Briar College instructors and coaches.

  • June 7-9, 2024
  • June 14-16, 2024

USHJA Emerging Athletes Program
Sweet Briar will be hosting a Regional Training Session for the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program for the third year in a row July 24-28, 2024. Interested riders should apply through the USHJA. Auditors are welcome and should contact jbetzler@sbc.edu for more information.

Winter Elite Junior Clinic
Geared towards high-schooled aged riders with riding experience at 3’3” and 3’6”, these riding clinics focus on the collegiate riding formats and preparing riders to ride at the varsity level in college. This clinic is Nov. 22-23, 2024.
