Pre-Departure Orientation & Support
As soon as you commit to attend the College by placing your deposit, no later than May 1, we’ll support you and your family every step of the way - from your home country to campus.
After placing your deposit, the first thing you must do is complete required forms in your Canvas portal, which are due by June 1. Starting in early June, weekly Thursday pre-departure sessions from 9-11 a.m. EST will be hosted via zoom to prepare you for your arrival and adjustment to life at Sweet Briar College. Sessions in May are optional and following dates are mandatory.
