What makes Friday even better? Showing off an amazing graduate from the Class of 2021! Tamia Jackson shares what she’s doing and planning for the future:

“Currently, I am working from home as a customer service rep for Hulu. I am getting more experience working with people and customer service to prepare me for my future endeavors. I plan to launch my very own Black-owned beauty supply store in February 2022 in Richmond, Va. I plan to uplift, give back and encourage the Black community.

“I have a dance project in the works titled ‘There is More To Us.’ This is simply about women and women of color. There is more to us than the stereotypes we hear everyday. I will be reaching out to local theaters in the Richmond area to showcase my performance, free to the public.

“I plan to return to school in the fall of 2022 to receive my master’s in psychology and education. With this degree I plan to become a dance therapist. I want to help battered women and children and give them a safe space to be free and comfortable.

“In conclusion, I am working to build a successful career and life for myself and family. I want to use my talents and gifts to help those in need.”

Holla, holla Tamia! Outstanding!
