Sweet Briar Campus
1. It’s springtime!

The beautiful skies and warm weather mean fun clothes and outdoor study sessions. Walking through Sweet Briar’s campus now, you will likely see students taking full advantage of the sun’s warm rays. Now is a great time to see the social life here on campus, the sisterhood and friendships that Sweet Briar women have built. You would also get insight on all the great outdoor study spaces Sweet Briar College has to offer.

2. Witness hard-working women.

Now that the semester is winding down and finals week is upon us, you are sure to see hard-working Sweet Briar women everywhere. Sweet Briar women really value their education and always work to maintain and improve their grades. You also get to see the great support Sweet Briar has to offer from students and faculty.

3. Our community

Sweet Briar has a very close-knit community of faculty, staff and students. While walking around campus on a tour, you will be able see the relationships that we have here at Sweet Briar. We all support each other, and you will be able to see — as well as feel — the love and support that exist on this campus.

4. Relaxation

Sweet Briar’s campus is a very peaceful and relaxing place. From the open fields that we can study and relax on to the trails that our riders and hikers use, Sweet Briar students really feel that this is their second home. Students are able to find things to do around campus to give their minds a break from their busy schedules.

5. The whole experience

While classes are still in session, those who visit at this time will get a chance to see Sweet Briar College in action. They will get to see what actually goes on from day to day during the academic year. They will get to see the students attending classes, studying and hanging out with friends. Sweet Briar College is so much more than just books and education. You will get to witness our students making life decisions and learning how to be leaders in and outside the classroom.
