All week long, campus has been gearing up for Reunion, and so are alumnae from near and far. They’re heading to the airport or packing their cars, tweeting and Instagramming in giddy anticipation.

If you’re a Sweet Briar alumna, there probably isn’t a more important date on your calendar, and it’s been that way for more than a century. Reunion is a time for traditions, going back to the College’s earliest days. But this year, there’s something new to get excited about: a brand-new app to keep track of all those last-minute events and class photos and semiofficial boathouse get-togethers. You can download it to your iPhone or Android device.

Of course, attendees will still get a printed program when they check in on Friday, and everything you’ll need to know is also on our website at

Registration starts at 1 p.m. Friday in the Babcock Fine Arts Center, with a reception and happy hour for everyone at 5 p.m. near the Senior Steps (rain location: Daisy’s Café). For more events, check the online schedule or download the app.
