The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has announced its 2017-18 All-Academic Team, which features 31 Sweet Briar College student-athletes.
The Class of 2017 includes several student-athletes.
In total, 1,974 students participated in an ODAC-sponsored sport and had a 3.25 or high cumulative GPA for the 2016-17 school year. This is the 11th consecutive year that the conference’s 14 full-time and three associate members have totaled over 1,000 people on the all-academic squad.
Soccer leads in the number of members on the All-Academic Team with 13, followed by tennis (8), lacrosse (5), swimming and cross-country (4), golf (3), and softball and riding (1).
