Sweet Briar Forever month signals strength

Sweet Briar College continues to meet and exceed expectations of the resiliency demonstrated by strong leadership. The injection of leadership through alumnae engagement, administrative guidance, faculty perseverance and the board of directors shows what tenacity the College possesses. At every juncture this month, from the recommitment of those gathered in the quad, to the bold fundraising initiatives this month to raise $1.14 million in 8 days from over 1,200 donors, to the careful budget management that shows that not one penny of the conservative 5 percent budgeted draw on the endowment has been tapped. These are signs of strength and a commitment to a new era of stewardship for the College.
