The College has spent March celebrating #SweetBriarForever, coming together to demonstrate our renewed strength and commitment to the College’s mission of providing young women a liberal arts education, in perpetuity.

92.7 FM - The Briar
The month promises to go out not like a lamb but instead with a bang, as generations of alumnae join in our Next Is NOW streamathon, a live stream fundraising event airing on The Briar 92.7’s live feed from 7 to 10 p.m. EST each night, March 28, 29 and 30.

Tune in to virtually hang out with an alumnae-student DJ team for every decade to party with your past and fund our future, listening to the songs that take you back to your years at the Briar. Make a donation to the Next Is NOW initiative to have your request or dedication played. Which decade can raise the most money and “rock and rule” the school? Tune in (and pledge) to find out:

Monday, March 28

7-10 p.m. — Not all ’90s girls are grungy, right? Tune in with Amy Leigh Campbell ’97 and friends to hear all the decade has to offer.

Tuesday, March 29

7 p.m. — El Warner ’85 and a special guest DJ will kick off the night with all the best sounds of the ’60s. Shagadelic, baby!

8-10 p.m. — 21st-century alumnae (classes of 2000 through 2016) and friends will be spinning what’s new, what’s nearly new and whatever you request. Join Jacqueline Comola ’13, Nicky Palmer ’15, Megan Behrle ’09, Betsy Bailey ’10 and Tell Fritzler for fun times.

Wednesday, March 30

7-10 p.m. — Shake your groove thing, rock the Kasbah, beat it, and answer the phone because London’s calling all night long, as Amy Campbell Lamphere ’80, Katie Hearn ’85, Jean von Schrader Bryan ’82 and Leigh Ann White ’86 take your pledges and help you get down to music of the ’70s and ’80s.

Tuning in is simple. Just click here or click play above. Help your decade become the fun(d)-raising champion by making a donation or converting a pledge, and get your request played by calling (434) 381-6927.

Let’s all party with our past while we fund our future, #SweetBriarForever style!
