Sweet Briar to hold Thanksgiving service

Sweet Briar College will host a community Thanksgiving worship service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in Memorial Chapel.
Choir rehearsal, which is open to everyone, begins at 6 p.m. under the direction of the Rev. Nancy Johnson of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. The worship service will begin at 7 p.m. with prayer, scripture, songs and a thanksgiving reflection by the Rev. Kathy Chase of Ascension Episcopal Church.
Prothro Dining will serve Sweet Briar’s annual Thanksgiving dinner before the worship service.
