While the alumnae and development office searches for a new director of alumnae relations, Diane Dalton ’67 is volunteering part time in the office to ensure alumnae programming remains strong.
As previously reported, former director Melissa Coffey Gay ’98 left her position to spend more time with her young family. Gay had served in the alumnae office since 1999 and was appointed director in 2009. Gay’s institutional knowledge of the College and its constituents is sorely missed, but not more than the energy, enthusiasm and personality she brought to the job.
Dalton, a
2012 Outstanding Alumna, has served the College with equal vigor, serving as a class secretary, Reunion Gifts Committee member and on the Alumnae Association board in several capacities, including president. She was an alumnae-nominated member of the board of directors and continues to serve on the board. She is a member of the Silver Rose Society and the Indiana Fletcher Williams Associates.
Dalton also is active in her home community. She is retired from her position as general manager of the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, where she worked for more than 20 years.
