Sweet Briar names director of institutional research

Christy Cole has been appointed as director of institutional research at Sweet Briar College beginning in January. Cole comes from Ohio Northern University, where she has been coordinator and director of institutional research since 1997.
As director of institutional research, Cole will work with all constituencies of the College in the development and dissemination of data and analyses and interpretation of data in support of decision-making in areas such as assessment, strategic planning and budget allocation.
Cole also will generate reports and surveys that are required for internal use, for reaccreditation, and to meet state and federal mandates.
