In 2024, Robert Hollister joined the Sweet Briar mathematics department. He previously taught at the University at Buffalo following being a graduate student teaching assistant and math tutor during his time at Western Michigan University (WMU) where he earned three degrees. In 2019, Robert was awarded WMU’s Yousef Alavi Doctoral Student Award in recognition of excellence in research.
