Professor Warnock teaches technical theatre and design as well as providing technical support for the performance spaces in Babcock. Prior to her arrival at Sweet Briar in 2000, she taught at Eckerd College. Cheryl has worked at many summer stock companies and Busch Gardens- Tampa. Her passion for Women’s education and empowerment started with the Girl Scouts where she held positions of CIT, Counselor, Waterfront Director, and Camp Director for over 20 summers. Since 2013 Cheryl as spent her summer’s at Stagedoor Manor Summer Theatre Training Center in NY where she has held positions of Scene Designer, Props Manager, and now Production Manager. She is very proud of being voted the 2022 Sweet Briar Excellence in Teaching award voted by the entire student body.
