B.S., Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology

Ph.D., Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mississippi State University

Farhina Haque is an Assistant Professor of Engineering at Sweet Briar College. Before joining SBC, she completed her Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University. Her research addresses dielectric challenges in high-power density systems. For her dissertation, she worked on PVDF based electret fabrication under various charging conditions to mitigate Partial discharge in power electronic driven systems. Her works also focused on modeling the dielectric breakdown characteristics of Supercritical Fluids. Her research interests include partial discharge, surface flashover, electrets, liquid metal polymer composites, and supercritical fluids
