Sweet Briar Mailing Services

Sweet Briar operates a contract Post Office for the U.S. Postal Service, located on the first floor of Meta Glass Hall.

US Mail and packages should be addressed to you as follows:

Packages sent to you via UPS and FedEx should be addressed as follows:

Please note that Sweet Briar Mailing Services cannot accept deliveries without shipping labels (ex. florists, bakeries, Walmart drop-offs).

USPS (front window)

We offer USPS services, such as P.O. Box rental, purchase of postage stamps and money orders, mail forwarding service, as well as package pickup and shipping.

Packages addressed to 134 Chapel Road, Sweet Briar, VA 24595 will be delivered to Sweet Briar Mailing Services. You will receive a notice in your mailbox, once your package is available for pickup. Although you may receive an email from the seller (ex. Amazon, Walmart), please wait until you have a notice in your box before picking up your package.

UPS (side door)

You may ship domestic UPS packages from Sweet Briar Mailing Services . Please use the side door for all UPS transactions.

If your package is delivered via UPS, you will receive an email notification from mailingservices@sbc.edu when your package is available for pickup. Although you may receive an email from the seller (ex. Amazon, Walmart), please wait until you receive an email from us before picking up your package.

FedEx (side door)

You may ship FedEx packages from Sweet Briar Mailing Services , if they have a prepaid label. Please use the side door for all FedEx transactions.

If your package is delivered via FedEx, you will receive an email notification from mailingservices@sbc.edu when your package is available for pickup. Although you may receive an email from the seller (ex. Amazon, Walmart), please wait until you receive an email from us before picking up your package.

Luggage Delivery

Any luggage or trunks sent to the college will be available at Sweet Briar Mailing Services. You will receive an email notification from mailingservices@sbc.edu if you receive any luggage, trunks or packages.

Amazon Locker

For your convenience, we also have an Amazon Locker on premise for package pickup, if you chose that option at checkout. The locker is located in the hallway beside the UPS/FedEx pickup window.

*Sweet Briar Mailing Services will be open from 8:30 a.m. - noon on these USPS holidays.

**Sweet Briar Mailing Services will be closed on these additional college holidays, although we will not have any window hours we will process mail normally on: November 22nd & 24th, December 22nd, 26-29 and January 2nd.
