Transcripts can only be requested by the student or alumna. All requests, whether made in person, by mail, email or fax, must be in writing and signed by the requestor. We will not accept a request from anyone else, including parents or employers, unless they have a signed release from the student or alumna.
There is no charge for ordering a transcript. Accelerated delivery by Priority Mail (USPS), FedEx, or UPS is available for a fee. The fee is dependent on the rates charged by the delivery service and location of the transcript recipient. Note that accelerated delivery must include a physical street address, not a P.O. box for delivery.
Sweet Briar College is currently unable to provide an official electronic transcript but hopes to be able to offer this service in the near future.
All financial obligations must be resolved with the college before the official transcript will be released.
Please allow 2-3 business days to process the request. Please allow additional processing time for coursework completed prior to 2001 and for requests made at the beginning and end of each academic semester.
